I was a radar operator on the Conway in 1944 through spring of 1946...worked on the ship in the Oakland, Ca. ship yard before heading to the South Pacific,,,,Leyte Gulf, in the Phillipines
Would like to hear from any shipmates...I was one of the youngest on the ship, at that time...
Proud to have been on The Conway...

My dad died on 1-8-09 and he was on the Conway in the early to mid 60's. I would like to hear from anyone that was with him. I also think my uncle was there sometime too. Their names are Howard and Harold Black. My uncle is still with us and living in WVA.

I served on the Conway from January 1963 until January 1965. I would like my name added to the ships roster but it seems that the webmaster site is not functioning correctly.

I like the new websight. I was on the Conway from 1957 to 1960. You need to have Otice Vail tell some of his tales.

I saw the current roster of crew members and
noticed that my name was missing. I served on
board the Conway from Jan l962 to Jan 1964 and
was PN1 running the Ship's Office. I also attended the 2003 Ship's Reunion. Had a marvelous time. Would truly enjoy another Reunion
but health dictates otherwise on traveling. You
now have a great website. Would like to see my
name added to the roster.

Thanks,
Jim Fulwood
